This gilet is crafted with a Japanese indigo-dyed dobby stripe fabric, which exudes vintage tailoring more than most other fabric options would. Dobby stripe is a classic fabric which saw plenty of wear in the late 19th and early-mid 20th century, before plainer tailoring fabrics took over handily. It features two flap closure waist pockets, a rear belted size adjuster, and black corozo nut buttons.
