Buzz Rickson's vintage-style sweatshirts are made with a 13 oz cotton terry fabric woven on vintage 1920's four-needle loopwheel machines. These are purposely made to reproduce the greatness of vintage loopwheeled sweatshirts through the fit, fabric, and details. These hoodies feature a zip front with two rounded hand pockets, a double-layered hood, and a ribbed hem and cuffs. 

Four-needle loopwheelers are old-school machines that knit fabric into a perfect tube, with each loom only capable of making one set diameter (so, one size) at a time. These were used to create and originally manufacture the vintage sportswear. Since loopwheeled fabrics are woven with zero-tension, they are softer and more durable, wearing and washing much better over time, so that they end up lasting a long time without losing their fit or feel.
